4th of July Family Fun

We love holidays! I especially LOVE the 4th of July, it is my second favorite holiday next to Christmas. I love it for many reasons…

• We live in the best country in all the world and that should be celebrated
• Family time around the pool
• Great Food
• Fireworks
• Great Food… did I already say that?

This year was the first year for the Greystone Pool and it was the most perfect day with family. My husband Kyle grilled pork belly and if you have never had it, you are missing out! He cooks it for hours on the Big Green Egg and fancies it all up! It really is AMAZING! We had onion dip, Captain Rodney’s Dip, fruit dip, ham and cheese sliders, all kinds of sweet treats and homemade ice cream! If you don’t have the Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker you really should get it! 20 minutes and the most wonderful ice cream ever (what is the 4th of July without ice cream)! You also need to get some Pure Mexican Vanilla, I promise you it makes everything BETTER!

We played in the water all day, ate all the things and ended the night with some fishing, fruit tree picking and of course a water balloon fight! It is always a fun time at Chelle and King’s house especially on the 4th of July! I hope you all have fun holiday traditions as well! That is one thing we are BIG on around these parts!

Nash Norrid with the most handsome eyes! I can’t get over this sweet boy, he is the perfect addition to the cousin crew and this was his FIRST 4th of July Celebration!

Greystone has some amazing fruit trees, this peach tree is “Art’s Tree” and boy does it produce a lot of yummy peaches! Perfect for the peach ice cream we made!
