GBM, Birthday Session

This little boy was the first baby I ever loved and he still has a special place in my heart always. This August he turned FIVE, it’s hard to even say that! Where did those 5 years go?

We do birthday shoots in my family… its just something we do. We do birthdays BIG, and we don’t apologize for it. We CELEBRATE LIFE and we are so thankful for this little guy being born!

When it rained on shoot day, it didn’t mess up our plans one bit! Gray loved it and then we had a puddle splash party at the end of the session with his brothers and cousins! Then everyone to the barn for a sink bath! It was pretty perfect

FIVE is a BIG one, make sure you document that special time with your kiddos!

Sun, Moon and Stars

My Sun, Moon and Stars in these photos, well almost my all. (My husband LOATHS having his photo taken more than anyone I know, so imagine him in there and you got it)! MY WHOLE WORLD.

Oh me, I am seriously so blessed to have these girls as my babies! They challenge me, push me to the limit, wake me up at all hours of the night and make me SO VERY HAPPY! I know I fail them everyday, and usually end each night with my head on the pillow reliving all the ways I screwed up that day. Praying to be a better mom, to have more patience, to show them God more. Motherhood is one of the biggest blessings in my life and I am so thankful to have been given this gift. I LOVE my job, but man oh man, I LOVE them more! SO MUCH MORE!

There is so much devastation and sadness in the world today but looking into the eyes of a child can make it all fade away for a moment. I hope they never loose that sparkle!

Katie & Sam, Heartwood Hall Wedding

Oh Katie and Sam, what a wonderful couple they are! I couldn’t imagine spending a 100 degree day with anyone else, because they completely ROCKED it and didn’t complain once! It was such a fun day celebrating them and watching them become husband and wife!

Katie works for Kappa Delta and she is obviously very loved by all 2,000 KD girls that came to celebrate with her.  These gals were so much fun and kept the party going all night long! Lets not forget about the killer wedding party that surrounded Katie and Sam. Wedding parties can sometimes make or break the day and this crew was TOP KNOTCH. It was a HOT day and everyone was just so amazing and enjoyable to be around, seriously couldn’t have asked for a better day!

The vendors that helped pull off this fabulous wedding were absolutely amazing as well, check out the full list at the bottom of the post!

The Carter Family ya’ll!

Such a fun session with my long time friend and her beautiful family. Sweet Henry was due after my Merritt and along with everyone else that was due after I me, he came about a week before M was born. (Seriously everyone was due after me and had babies before me, and I’m remembering all the emotions because it was exactly a year ago!)

My oldest tagged along for this session and got to play with sweetie pie Jane. Its such a joy photographing these families and giving them the gift of photos! I hope you all enjoy!
