Announcement, Baby Sharp is on the Way

It’s always so wonderful to get those calls that your friends are going to be parents! These two are have such special place in my heart and they are going to be amazing parents to their little one.

We got together for a fun anniversary/announcement session and I love the happiness that is just oozing out of them. Congratulations Dane and Caitlyn, I love you guys and so beyond happy and excited for you two!

Winsley Ames, A Light & Bright Newborn Session

This sweet family! I just can’t say enough about how they have always supported me and invited me into their most special moments in life. This is so much more than a job, this is forming bonds with couples that then share life’s milestones with me for years to come. I couldn’t be more blessed. I remember the texts I got from Garner with a picture of a swaddle that said “for this child we have prayed!” It was such a joyous texts and then the planning for the reveal began. We did an anniversary session with the sweetest Christmas Announcement ever! During this session I also found out they were going to be moving back to MEMPHIS to raise their family!
I was so excited to hear when sweet Winsley arrived! He gave his mommy a run for her money but he was worth every second of the pain!
When I arrived for his session Big Sister Isabelle was waiting for me in the window! Their house is precious and baby’s nursery was perfection. I am so thankful for his safe arrival and for the snuggles I got to sneak in too!
Garner and Hunter were so calm and baby Winsley felt it! The best advice I can give parents is to be calm and baby will be calm too! I LOVED this session so much!

Twins Make Seven, Family Maternity Session

Ali and I were besties in high school and stayed connected through the college years and mom years and when I was sitting at home one evening I got THE BEST text ever! Someone was pregnant again… with TWINS! Waterworks immediately started and I remember saying you are about to have 5 kiddos, what an absolute blessing. Their is no one in the world that can rock this mom of 5 thing better than Ali, especially with the help of her awesome and hilarious hubby Jared.
Ali and the family made the trip in from Jonesboro for this adorable session and the forecast wasn’t so great so we had fingers crossed it would play nice. It ended up being an absolutely beautiful night for photos.
Ali was 34 weeks at our session and I got the wonderful text on Tuesday that the twins made an early appearance at 36 weeks and doing great!
I am so beyond happy for this family and can’t wait to meet the littlest Winters!

These sweet people come in town for their family photos each year and it makes me so happy! One of the best things about my gig is getting to see the little ones grow and change each year. It means the world to me to have clients come back year after year.

Mommy & Me Maternity

This session is so dear to my heart, y’all! I think its the greatest thing when I have friends ask me to document such major moments in their lives, its the biggest honor. I have known Beth for about 10 years now. Our husbands were great friends and if you ever get the privilege to meet Beth you will fall in love with her immediately as well. Beth is one of those people that just automatically lifts your mood! She is always positive, gracious, and just an overall wonderful person.
Beth and Tyler are having a little boy due at the end of September, and I can’t wait to meet him! I am so glad we did this session. I didn’t do maternity pictures with my first and I so wish I had, so I did a mommy and me session when I was pregnant with baby #2. I highly recommend doing a maternity session for all those mommas out there, not just for you but for your sweet baby to have those images one day!
Get ready for some super sweet mommy and kiddo cuddles coming your way!
