Katie Norrid: Owner & Lead Photographer

Hey, I’m Katie!! I’m the owner and lead photographer here at KNP. I’ve had a camera in my hand since I can remember. I got a “big girl” job right out of college and was doing photography on the side. I was NOT made for corporate USA and decided to take a leap and start a photography business. It wasn’t til after I had my first baby that I got really serious and the current business of KNP was created!

I’ve been married for coming up on 9 years this October. We have 3 kiddos with another one on the way! I am a newly homeschooling momma (never thought that would be in my story), run a business, I’m the family manager and growing a human all at the same time! Some days are extremely challenging juggling it all but man do I love it! I feel so incredibly blessed to have this business, be a mom and homemaker. I just need a few more acres, some chickens, and some other animals to fulfill our little homestead dreams.

I’ve always wanted a large family and after the birth of my second business was BOOMING and family life was lacking. We wanted more babies but I needed help! That’s when the prayers for the KNP team began. I invested so much time, money, and energy into growing a team and I have to say it’s surpassed anything I could have hoped or imagined. The Lord is like that though. He knows what is best and always provides.

The KNP team is in its THIRD year! I can’t believe that! Truly so many blessings from the women I’ve worked with and currently make up our team. I believe it’s been so successful because each woman that has been on this team has one major thing in common and that is a love for the LORD. We all know we would have nothing without his gracious blessings. I pray we continue to remember who makes this all possible and continue on to do his work and bring Him glory!

Brittany Gamblin: Associate Photographer & Studio Manager

Hi, I’m Brittany! I’ve been with KNP for 3 years now. I absolutely love getting to tell a little story of your family each time I get behind my camera. I feel like I’m living in a dream when I walk into the studio to snuggle your babies or run around outside laughing and tickling your kiddos. Thank YOU for being here and for loving KNP.. because we sure do love you!

I’m a mom to my two golden girls and love doing life with my man! We love taking day trip adventures and the beach is always calling our name. Even more now that my brother, SIL, nieces and nephew moved to Florida! So, if you have a trip planned to Pensacola, Destin, or 30a and want to do a KNP Beach Session.. I’m your girl! 😉

Growing up, I always wanted to be a teacher until I actually graduated with my teaching degree, ha! That’s when I realized nannying just a few kids was way easier than a classroom of 20. I have always loved photographing kids, dogs, food and life in general. Being a part of the KNP Team is the best because we NEVER stop learning and we have so much fun together! It’s really a dream come true.

Rachel Scoggin: Associate Photographer

Hi, I’m Rachel! I’ve been into photography since I’ve had children (my oldest is 9) but I finally bit the bullet and started taking classes (one through KNP!) about 4 years ago. I started my own black & white heirloom photography business around that time, and soon after joined KNP as an associate photographer. I’ve learned so much on the job in just a few short years, and every time I finish a session I’m able to look back on my work and feel rewarded & proud about what I just captured.

I have been married to my husband for 13 years and we have 3 children, ages 9, 8, and 3, who keep us extremely busy. Our girls (the older two) are involved in swimming and cheer, so our weekends are usually spent at competitions and meets. Little brother is just along for the ride! Life is very busy, but it’s so fulfilling.

We are not Memphis natives (came here for FedEx!) and we put a priority on spending as much time with extended family as we can. We have family all over the country: Kentucky, Washington, Idaho, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Missouri just to name a few! We’ve been blessed to be able to travel to these places on a somewhat regular basis and show our kids where we come from.

My husband is also prior Active Duty military (he still serves in the Tennessee National Guard) which gave us many locations as “home” during our first 8 years of marriage and before we called Memphis “home”. While moving every few years & dealing with deployments was challenging, we have been blessed with friendships during that time that are irreplaceable. We like to think that we can make friends anywhere, and we know that helped with our transition when we moved here just over 4 years ago.

My background is in education (I have a degree in both Elementary & Special Education) so photographing families and children comes natural to me. I am so thankful I’ve found this path.

Anna Cate Kramer: Junior Associate Photographer & Blog Coordinator

Hi, I’m Anna Cate, but you can call me AC! This is my first year with KNP, but I’ve been into photography since I can remember. When I was growing up, I always made my big sis be my model and snapped many shots over the years! I purchased my first “big girl” camera in high school. Then, I went off to college at the University of Arkansas and took pictures whenever I had the opportunity; I was designated the “picture girl” when my friends and I hung out!

While I was in Fayetteville, I had been feeling unsettled and began to pray for the Lord to show me where He wanted me to be. After almost a year of praying, I saw that KNP was looking to add a junior associate to their team. I took a leap of faith and applied! After a few interviews, Katie called me and offered me the position as junior associate. Being a part of the KNP team is an answered prayer and a testament to the Lord’s faithfulness!

This season of life is quite busy, but I’m so thankful for it all! I am completing my degree in education with a minor in Spanish at the University of Memphis. When I’m not studying, you can find me nannying or subbing at a preschool. If you can’t tell, hanging out with kids is my favorite thing. Well..my favorite thing is being a dog mom, but being with kids is a close second. 😉

I have learned so much this past year and I can’t wait to learn more along side this amazing group of women!
