The Big Reveal

 

Well friends it is time to finally share the BIG NEWS! Katie Norrid Photography is officially offering Natural Light Studio Sessions!  This has been a dream for a long time and we have really been praying about it for the last year that God would show us what He wanted us to do with this dream. He opened doors for us and we are now booking studio sessions in the space above the adorable Halo Salon in Rossville, TN.

I have been working with the owner of the Salon since I began shooting full time and they are some wonderful, talented people. If you are getting married or need a cut or whatever you should go see them immediately! The salon is pretty new, but these ladies have been at it forever. Once they opened up, I scheduled my hair appointment with my girl Jena and afterwards she said you have to come see upstairs!  Y’all it was everything I had pictured for a space.

Well that was over 6 months ago and I just kept on and praying and looking for places to buy every night, talking to our real estate agent, thinking about converting a room in my house… everything under the sun. Then a few weeks ago I received a newborn inquiry and she said, “Didn’t you have a studio in Rossville where the Salon is now?” It was like OK, I have to reach out to them, and see if this is a possibility. First of all the space is light and bright and has so much character and being able to work with this incredible business owner was for real an answered prayer!

The approach for these sessions will be the same, still no super posed images here. Just fun, authentic sessions that showcase you and your loved ones. I will be offering these sessions for newborns, milestones, families and couples starting March 1st, and the first 3 sessions booked get a special offer!

I am excited to have a great space to document such precious moments for your family, and you all know Memphis gets super hot in the summers and pretty cold in the winters.  I now have a space that will keep you comfortable and looking your best for your portraits.

You know what else is great! You can book hair and makeup right downstairs then head on up and look and feel fabulous!
