The KNP Team is Growing!
We are so excited to be entering into our THIRD year as The KNP Team and with that we have experienced so much growth and so much change over the past two years. We are fine art family and newborn photographers and have been so blessed with full calendars and amazing clients which leads us to the search for our newest member! Applications will be LIVE Monday December 14th with the deadline for submission Monday January 11th. We are on the hunt for a Junior Associate to join are team in the new year, but first let me introduce everyone!
Here is the breakdown…
What we are looking for:
– Someone who has a natural eye, gift, and passion for photography
– Someone who is organized
– A great work ethic is very important, as well as someone who loves to learn, can work and problem solve independently, and is very responsible
– Someone who is willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done and contribute to our team
– Someone who loves people, especially children
– Being a good writer is a bonus, as you will be responsible for some KNP Blog Posts
– Someone who values communication, feedback, and growth
- – It is a bonus if you already have experience shooting families+newborns but it is not necessary to apply for this position (we will be training you)
- You do not have to be local to memphis but willing to travel for training and some sessions. Located in the Midsouth radius is a plus
Things you can expect from us, if you end up joining our team:
– How to become a successful family photographer
– How to contribute to and interact with a small creative team
– Vendor relationships & networking
– What it takes to make sessions and other shoots successful _ Training on culling+editing images
– Constant feedback and encouragement
Important info:
– This will be a position that is compatible with another part time or full time job.
– This position does include limited in-studio / office work, and it will require that you be available on some Saturdays and in the evenings (for sessions), and team meetings.
– You do not need to own your own photography equipment, but if you already do, that is a big bonus.
– The interview process is not quick, but proven effective, so get ready!
– We will not rush to hire, and if the right person doesn’t come along we will wait.
– We will be training/mentoring you to have the “KNP look,” as well as bringing out your own style as a photographer.
Compensation:
- Sessions will be a percentage fee
- In-Studio work will be on an hourly rate of $10-13/ hour based on experience
